Vino Oregon Inc. was founded in 2011 as a wine blogging website and over the years has now grown into a company that takes pride in the Oregon wine culture, the community and the people in which we impact. We are so happy to have an organization that has developed as the needs have and is as fun and unique as the people that make Vino Oregon Inc.

It seems that you wanted kid/family friendly activities, different food options, more support for the local community, a unique market, and craft offerings. So we introduce to you, Social Goods: Toys, Taps, Cafe and Newberg Wine Lockers.

Vino Oregon Inc. is proud of our brands. Most people may know Vino Oregon from its roots as a blogging site. Today we have launched two big ventures, Social Goods Market and Newberg Wine Lockers. Our portfolio also includes Vino Events and Vino Concierge.
We don't do business without thinking of the impact it'll have on the community. For example in Social Goods, each product (including our toys, our beer selection and our sandwiches) gives back in some way, you can ask our employees about any product and they can tell you how it gives back. We want to you feel good about what you buy. Be the change you want to see in the world.
As we grow, and more brands are added, we look forward to the future of Vino Oregon Inc. and how big of a positive impact you can make in our local community.
We are a family owned and operated business. Founded by Robin Sikkens as a blogging website in 2011 we have grown into a social and community company seeking to do good through social giving while creating a strong business model for our shareholders, family and staff.
Robin Sikkens was born and raised in the Northwest. She went to WSU on a track and academic scholarship where she majored in Business Management with an emphasis on hospitality. In 2005 she became the PAC-10 (now PAC-12) Champion in the High Jump for WSU (she’s only 5’5”). That is where she learned that you can do anything you want if you focus and put your mind to it. After graduation she worked with Kimpton Hotels, Starwood Hotels, and numerous restaurants in PDX and then distributed wine in Oregon for Jackson Family Wines. While living in Portland she has had the opportunity to sit on the Randal Children’s Hospital Board of Procurement for the Classic Wines Auction, spend a week of her vacation, for the past three years, loving on a foster child with Royal Family Kids Camp, and volunteer as a sommelier at Salud, IPNC and Classic Wines Auction. She is also active in her current community of Newberg, helping out with the Downtown Newberg Coalition, First Fridays, Young Professionals of Yamhill and Newberg Early Bird Rotary. She now has a 2 1/2 year old and a 9month old. She knew it was time to finally put her dreams into action. This is why she is starting Social Goods, Newberg Wine Lockers and Vino Concierge. She looks forward to meeting you.
Danny Sikkens was born in Reno, Nevada and moved to Oregon after having had studied in Hamburg, Germany. Danny has worked in multiple industries but is best known for being the founder and Executive Director for Aim High Academy of Martial Arts, a nonprofit based in Beaverton, Oregon. Danny has traveled around the world from his time at Intel in the marketing department, as an entrepreneur and also while seeking to serve the needy. Danny has done international work with Compassion First, an anti-trafficking nonprofit as well as rebuilding housing and community centers after horrible storms in the south. Along with his wife Robin, Danny has worked in the foster care arena in multiple aspects while hoping to positively impact the lives of youth. Danny is recognized for his marketing and social standing through Oregon Top 100, the UBBT and nonprofit industry awards. The action Danny is most proud of are his little girls who pretty much rule his life.
In addition to Vino Oregon's director's team above, we are made up of family involvement, investors and products and brands that build our name as a social giving company.
Because Vino Oregon Inc. believes in helping to create stronger, more vibrant communities, we invite our customers throughout the year to join us in making a difference and “giving back.” In 2016, Vino Oregon Brand’s and our customers plan to contributed more than $100k to nonprofit organizations statewide through our signature programs. Each product as Social Goods: Toys, Taps, Cafe hosts a narrative of community giving. In addition Vino Events dba will host a list of amazing events that will be purposed around a social cause.
Events held in 2016/17 include The Kelly Groups annual party and Aim High Foundations Paddle Raise.
